Seal Tortie Point

This pointed variant of a persian has got his mask from the siamese. Many generations ago the persian was mixed with the siamese to get the siamese marking.

This means, the Colourpoint (also called Himalayan) has mask, feet, tail ears in a different colour than the body colour. Himalayans are pointed in seal, blue, flame, cream, chocolate, lilac, tortie and blue cream. There are also tabby pt. Colourpoints in all these colours.

Seal Point

The Colourpoint is born white without any colour, the brightness of the white colour can give a hint of the point colour later. Seal pt. are slightly yellow, red and cream pt. very bright. All Colourpoints have blue eyes, and the dark blue colour is most desirable.

They are kind, lovable, intelligent and beautiful. Coat care is necessary. A well groomed Colourpoint is a very beautiful longhaired cat. The exotic variant is a shorthaired Colourpoint. A Colourpoint adjusts itselfes very easily to their peoples lifestile.
